What Do Nazis, NATO, LGBTQ, and Cheese-less Pizza Have in Common?
It is a classic case of an addicted partner seeking to ever shift blame for his destructive and abusive behavior onto others. Russia, led by Putin, cannot take responsibility for its deadly mistakes so it blames everyone and everything but itself.
Since February 24th, when Russian troops crossed the border into Ukraine, the message Putin has used to “rally the troops” and keep the average ill-informed citizen on his side has changed with each failed phase of the war. The ever-devolving game of musical “who is to blame” for the war of genocide has been from the point of view of PR and communications a sadly predictable but interesting to-watch affair.
The Nazis
The thing that always amazes me, however, is how either gullible or stupid the target audience is for these messages. Very early on February 24th, Putin’s speech explaining why Russia was attacking Ukraine was aired on Russian television.
The twisted facts he put forth painted a picture of an innocent little child-like Russia sweetly strolling through a field gathering wildflowers. With a child’s unquenchable curiosity, the newly-freed Russia was looking to its Western parents…
