Unforturnately, Russians are being told such lunacy. A friend of mine, she is a lesbian, left three years ago with their children because a law was passed that stated that "morally corrupting youth about gay lifestyles" could result in an 8 year prison sentence. Living with "wife"--can't do that in Russia--was already a crime because their daughters saw them being "morally unfit." I added a link to Kirill's beliefs in the article. Many of my now "former" friends, I just can no longer talk to them in the same way I cant talk with hardcore Trumpists, sincerely believe that a Nazi regime was genociding Russian-speakers, the first language for 60% of Ukrainians now fighting Russia is Russian, promoting "gay morals."
