Ukraine Is in for It Now, Putin Visited the ‘Front’
The Russian knight descends from the fog of night to lead his troops to infamy
I wonder what it was like when the moment the surprise was revealed? Was it one of those moments when the door opens and in walks the shakey-little leader sending the whole room of seated generals and other officers leaping to their feet to honor him?
Or maybe he was checking coats in the dining room of the headquarters and then suddenly removing a wig and funny glasses, he reveals his true identity? Of course, though, it was neither. The great surprise visit had undoubtedly been meticulously prepared at least two weeks in advance.
It was roughly two weeks ago that the Kremlin announced that Putin might soon make a “surprise visit” to the troops defending Russia against the fascist onslaught from the West — their words, not mine. It seems the pressure was mounting a bit that he was hanging in his very posh lairs and Russians were freezing to death on the front.
Well, the Kremlin sure shut up those critics with this visit and the government-controlled media is loving Putin’s show of “leadership.” He traveled to an undisclosed location, perhaps to another one of the buildings behind the walls of the Kremlin, and listened to his troops.
