Tulsi Gabbard Picked to Lead US Intelligence Services
Remember in the old days, before America became a barely functioning banana republic, most of the people appointed to serious government positions by incoming presidents were, for the most part, experts in their field. Every Democratic president, and most Republican ones, chose professionals knowledgeable in their fields. Often, when senators from one party had to pass their judgment on a nominee from the other party, there might be some griping, but the candidate’s professionalism was recognized.
This changed when Newt Gingrich brought his one-ring circus to town. Gingrich and his “Contract for America” planted the seeds for what we have today. Worn down and then built up again by decades of Fox News, a majority of Americans are now incapable of critically analyzing why nominating people like Tulsi Gabbard and Matt Gaetz is bad for our nation. Republicans always imagined, and quite hysterically, that Democrats were aligned somehow with China. Everything Democrats have tried to do to make the country better has somehow been linked to a grand Chinese conspiracy. Combatting climate change is a perfect example of how Democrats want to destroy the American economy.
