The image in the photo best describes how Tucker Carlson looked. Bloated, pasty, and just barely emitting any signs of life. The recently-fired Nazi, a product of the most elite schools in the nation and a resident of one of the most liberal neighborhoods in America took the stage at the Republican Party’s annual Family Leadership Summit and to the chagrin of most present, stole the show.

He stole it, though, not in the way an actor steals a scene or a musician tearing through raging guitar solo after solo, but in the way stick-up artist thieves. Carlson’s assault on the sanctity of the annual gathering of America’s fascists began when the dopey and unassuming Mike Pence disregarded the signs reading “Minefield ahead” and marched straight onto the hidden explosives.

When Mr. Pence was ridiculously criticizing the Biden administration for being less than supportive of Ukraine’s war effort, he stepped right onto a landmine. First of all, he is a dunce because if not for the Biden administration’s leadership, weak-will Europe would have bailed a year ago. Secondly, was he not watching Fox before the blow-fish got fired?

The past holds the answers to today’s problems. “Be curious, not judgmental,” at least until you have all the facts. Think and stop watching cable news.
