Trump Federalizes D.C.: Has It Begun?

Violent crime in the nation’s capital has been dropping, but that’s besides the point. The carjacking of “Big Balls,” the incel DOGE worker from Russia who helped Elon Musk create havoc with our nation’s bureaucratic infrastructure, has quickly been elevated to the status of the “murder of a German diplomat” in Paris in 1938. After Ernst vom Rath was murdered by a Jewish-German emigre living in Paris, the Nazis launched the pogrom known as “Kristallnacht” in Germany.
President Trump said that he was temporarily taking control of the Washington, D.C., police department and deploying 800 National Guard troops to the city, painting a dystopian picture of the nation’s capital that stood in sharp contrast to official figures showing violent crime in the city is at a 30-year low.
