Trump Country Isn’t Just a Place, It’s a Mindset
A Pennsylvania woman living in Washington State went to a local post office and attempted to mail her absentee ballot. The Trumpist working there refused to take her ballot. He stopped the democratic process.
In a perfect world, the woman would have just dropped her ballot into a mailbox and been done with her Constitutional right. However, she did not have the proper envelope. After checking with a few other post offices in her area, she learned that they too had run out of the necessary envelopes. The voter in question, Jenn Marie, was directed to the Smokey Point post office because it is a sort of warehouse for all such materials.
A woman says a Smokey Point, Wash. USPS worker refused to take her mail-in ballot, claiming he said he could “refuse service to anyone” in a now-viral TikTok. She believes that this was an attempt at “voter interference (Tell Me You Are in MAGA Country).”
The man claimed he didn’t know what envelope she was talking about even though his colleagues at the other post offices and the one where he works indicated that he has access to the special envelopes needed.
