Moscow is a lovely city that has benefitted from decades of amazing oil and gas wealth. Take out the Putin side of things and life there is not bad — it’s even good.

Monday started with another vicious attack against Kyiv’s energy infrastructure guaranteeing many of the residents of this beautiful city will die miserably over a long and cold winter.

The time has come for Ukrainian special forces to bring the war to Moscow: The time has come to remove the “nice place to live” descriptor from the Moscow tourism pamphlets.

I have as much dislike for Moscovites as any Russian not residing in Moscow does. There is a collective dislike for Moscovites by Russians all over the country kind of like the way Americans are suspicious of “New-Yawkers.”

Unfortunately, they have made their choices and they choose Putin. Now, they must accept the consequences of this choice.

Explosions rock Kyiv

Russia seems to have found a way around the incompetence of its army and the dwindling missile supplies. Iran is providing them with thousands of Shahed-136 attack drones.
