Three Scenarios for Trump’s Military Parade

Regardless of how it plays out, the outcome results from 40 years of conservatism run amok.

I no longer regard tomorrow’s military parade as some sort of Rubicon for our country. We long ago passed that historical, and figurative, river on our way toward authoritarianism once Trump took office and appointed the most incompetent and anti-American cabinet in the nation’s history. Today, everyone serving in the various departments that run our nation has sworn oaths of loyalty not to the Constitution but to Donald Trump. It is a toss-up to decide which one is the most incompetent, but one thing unites all of them: They all work tirelessly to destroy our nation’s political system and our democracy. So, tomorrow’s parade to honor the dictator-wannabe is nothing more than just icing on the cake.

The world will witness an expression of desperation tomorrow. Donald Trump’s presidency is failing. Most Americans, except for the 30 percent who are cultists, realize that Trumpism is a disease. The chaos that has gripped the country and the world since January 20th is wearing people down, and the honeymoon, which usually lasts 100 or so days, long ago ended. Everyone is sick and tired of seeing and hearing him. At this time, the man who bankrupts everything he touches is bankrupting the United…
