Thoughts and Prayers Go Out to the Victims of the Next Shooting
I watched the leaked video of the Uvalde shooting today and it really messed with my head
This is the moment the killer from Uvalde entered the school armed with an AR-15. The 19 children were still happily watching the movie The Addams Family. They were dreaming of summer vacation which would have started just a few hours after this video was made.
The shooter will turn right and then proceed down to the end of the hallway. Coming upon an open door, he opens fire. The 19 children most likely didn’t even have a chance to be startled by the noise. Mercifully, they were killed instantly — so said a local coroner.
Minutes after the shooting began, eight heavily armed policemen arrive. While they stand there, one checks his phone. Shooting can be heard inside the classroom as they take up positions for what appears to be an imminent breach. One of the officers is so close it seems he could sneak in and take the shooter out.
Apparently, the shooter hears them and he lets bullets fly into the hallway. The police nearest the door scamper back away from the room full of children — they save their own lives.
