There Is a Massive Problem with Immigration in America
The right-wingers are right, and the immigration impasse is destroying our nation — more so in the MAGA states, oddly.
I am in total agreement with the Trumpists, the MAGidiots, and all of the rest of the Foxified dummies whose obsession with immigration binds them up so tightly that three days’ worth of Metamucil can’t crack that discomfort. There is indeed a huge problem with immigration in the country. The problem is not what they seem to think it is. The problem is them!
Right-wingers love to whine incessantly about how illegal immigration is ruining the nation. America’s cities, they tell us, because of Democrats in cahoots with immigrants have been turned into cesspools of humanity. Crime, drugs, and overall lawlessness prevail, thus turning the interior of the nation into an unlivable version of Mad Max.
Here’s the problem with all of this ignorant fear-mongering. It’s just not true. Of all of the issues our nation faces today, illegal immigration is the least of them. Americans are eternally addicted to drugs with an appetite that few countries can stake a claim. The U.S. leads the world in deaths from drug abuse with 21.3 per 100,000.
