The Tired and Whiny Hillary Defense Has Got to Go
When will Democrats stop making excuses for weak and failed candidates just to be politically correct?
There is a cohort of Americans sympathetic to the causes of the Democratic Party who always come down on the side of political correctness while irrationally turning their backs on the practical, bread-and-butter issues that actually win elections.
These so-called liberals are actually worse than the right-wingers because at least we know where those brainless Americans stand. The whiny intellectuals who think that they are all about progress and what’s best for America tend also to be the same people who rather than soberly and critically analyze Hillary Clinton’s failed 2016 bid for the presidency instead close their eyes and say stuff like: She lost because of the misogynistic coverage of the U.S. media. If she had been a man, she would have beaten Trump.
Are there grains of truth in that? Absolutely there are but was the whole big tossed salad that was Hillary’s campaign made up only of those grains? No way. Hillary’s team ran a failed campaign. It was their election to lose and even if misogyny was 10 percent of the reason for her loss, there was 90 percent that was the fault of her team. Hillary chose that team. Hillary Clinton never…
