Western officials have finally figured out that the opportunity might be as golden as it’s going to get for not only strengthening Ukraine’s defenses but also providing an immediate offensive impact that can create disarray and chaos for the inevitable Russian spring offensives.

Ever since Moscow’s illegal war of genocide began, the Kremlin has been warning that there were red lines Western nations should not cross or else.

Seemingly, each time Russia’s generals realized that the latest round of Western support was exploiting their weaknesses resulting in a shredding of Russia’s war-making capabilities, Putin would be paraded out with the stupid, round-faced, tough guy look: “We will punish people in ways the world has never seen.”

In many ways, Putin kept his word but his punishment has been very standard military fare hardly impressing anyone and usually of the easiest targets in any war zone: women and children.

Excluding the criminal attack on schools, hospitals, and shopping malls, Russia has let the crossing of red lines pass usually without any especially violent upgrades.

The past holds the answers to today’s problems. “Be curious, not judgmental,” at least until you have all the facts. Think and stop watching cable news.
