The Power of the Negative Message
‘Trump amnesia’ is real, and is evolving him from human to immortal right before our eyes.
This isn’t a rally in Alabama. English is not the native language of these faces. This is in a park in the Bronx, in New York City. Liberals so naively think that Hispanics support them because we are for “unbridled” immigration. At a Trump rally in New York last night, many in this crowd broke into a “Build the Wall” chant.
We are nearly four years removed from January 6th and the horror of that day. When Trump left office, he was a pariah who should have faded into irrelevance. By now, we should all be remembering with horror those four years of “Trumpism.” We should be shaking with laughter at his calls for shooting bleach into the bloodstream to fight COVID. We should still be appalled and angry over the verbal abuse we all suffered daily, thanks to his horrific social media rants and misuse of the bully pulpit. We should all be thankful that a responsible and boring president again governs America.
We aren’t, though. Amazingly, so many people seem to have forgotten how bad it was with Trump. They have forgotten his daily press conferences, how he prostrated himself before world despots and turned the U.S. into a pawn for the Kremlin, and how everything he did and said was designed…
