The Plot Thickens: U.S. Warning to Russia Mentioned Crocus City Hall

The incompetence of Putin and his police state boggles the mind and leaves way too many imprisoned and even worse.

It’s called a “duty to warn.” Nations are supposed to warn each other about possible terrorist attacks. The U.S. warned the Kremlin on March 7th that an attack seemed imminent. The next day, it issued a public warning so Americans still residing in Russia could take proper measures.

In speaking at a gathering of FSB agents on March 19th, Vladimir Putin ridiculed the U.S. warning. It had been over 10 days since the initial warning and nothing had happened, yet. In a mixture of bravado and gloating, Putin wanted to show the agents with whom he imagines a special bond exists, so he decided to show his lack of gratitude for the warning publicly. He said the U.S. was trying to intimidate Russians and create panic.

More than two weeks before terrorists staged a bloody attack in the suburbs of Moscow, the U.S. government told Russian officials that Crocus City Hall, a popular concert venue, was a potential target, according to U.S. officials familiar with the matter.
