The changes taking place in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives are taking place at such a blistering speed that safety goggles will soon be required on the floor.

Today, in the best interests of the American people, Republicans gutted the budget for the House Ethics Committee. Obviously, requiring elected officials to live by a higher standard is not something the American people want or need.

Americans want their representatives to be the same lying, loud-mouth, ignorant numbskulls that park their cars near 7-Elevens sipping on beers as they wait for their fellow citizens to park undeservedly in spots for the physically impaired. “Hey, you invalit or what? Where’s yo sticka? You bedda move that v’hicle raat nahw o else.”

The House of Representatives on Monday passed a new set of rules to govern the chamber that will severely weaken the ability of the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) to investigate members of Congress for potential wrongdoing (House Republicans Voted to Gut).

Do you know who was ecstatic about the new changes? Yes, make-believe-man from Long Island, the husky liar, George Santos.

The past holds the answers to today’s problems. “Be curious, not judgmental,” at least until you have all the facts. Think and stop watching cable news.
