Thank God for Uvalde, Right?
Otherwise, getting teachers armed would have been next to impossible
Teachers in Ohio, and 29 other states, are actively training to use guns to protect the children put into their care daily from early morning to late afternoon.
After watching how 375 highly-trained police in Uvalde failed terrifically to stop a “bad guy with a gun,” I don’t put a lot of faith in this latest, stupid, right-wing great idea.
Truthfully, our society is failing and this is a perversion of modern life; yet, many will say that it is the right thing to do. It’s the safest alternative, many parents will reassure themselves when picking their little angels up from gymnastics or little league.
Arming school teachers is an atrocity on par with what is happening in Russian schools where innocent children are being indoctrinated to believe that Ukraine is the enemy — that Ukraine never existed. This is why my son won’t be going to school in Russia ever and the biggest reason we abandoned that failing society.
The gun thing is a reason that I most likely will never let my son go to school in the U.S. All over the country, school officials other than policemen or security guards are being licensed to carry guns onto school property. Many, like Mandi from Ohio, have taken this…
