Sickly Putin or a Body-Double, Russian Monster goes to Mariupol
Vladimir Putin visited the illegally-occupied Ukrainian city of Mariupol the other day to show off to the world that he isn’t afraid of an international arrest warrant.
Impressive, of course, would have been if the sickly, little coward had shown up in Warsaw or Kyiv — maybe even Tallinn, Estonia. In those cities, of course, Putler would have been arrested for sure if not stoned to death.
Nevertheless, it is certainly a heartwarming visual to see how he has started to look like the embalmed Lenin in the Red Square mausoleum. If you never saw Lenin, I am not even exaggerating but Putin has the same waxy, artificial look about him in these photos.
There is a video that accompanied these screen pulls. You really get to watch Putin struggle to walk — it made me ask “How can Russians sitting home watch this sad spectacle and not appreciate that this is even worse than the worst public appearances of Brezhnev when he was in full dementia?
How aren’t Russians, the people who many always call so “proud,” not looking at this murderous theater of the absurd and just saying: This has got to stop (funny thing is, I ask the same about Trumpists)?
