Russia’s Greatest Fear: That No One Fears Russia Anymore
Ready, one, two, three: Fold your hands gently onto your belly and let out a hearty laugh! Repeat this over and over until you actually find yourself laughing for real.
In case you haven’t guessed, we are laughing at Russia’s failures as a modern society.
Or, better yet, go to YouTube and watch the laughing scene from Good Fellas. Do you know the one where Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci, and others are hysterically laughing? Allow yourself to get laugh-infected from that scene and then immediately think of Putin’s “tough guy” speech on February 24th when he announced to the world why he was invading Ukraine. It is so cathartic having a belly-aching, guffaw at his — their — expense.
Feels good, right? It makes me feel wonderful, actually, when I think of how confident he was that the “special military operation” would be over in a week or so. I especially love reading the comments on Putin’s speech from the morning. A whole lot of really dumb people inhabiting our planet were rooting for him. Many loons called his speech one of the most important in history.
