Russia Upgrading Its Ukraine War Narrative

Fearing defeat against an ‘inferior’ foe, Russia replaces Ukraine with U.S. and U.K.

The defeat of the Russian army on the battlefield is if not imminent then certainly inevitable. Russia has no options for turning the tide in Ukraine, minus all-out nuclear war. If the new messaging out of Moscow is a sign that this reality has sunk in, then it could be either promising or horrifying.
