Not agreeing with Democrats is okay. However, not voting for them can mean that the economic balancing act one does to make ends meet will only worsen.

This is a small but significant fact that anyone concerned about the economy should know.

Not only are red and blue America experiencing two different economies, but those economies are diverging fast. Radical change is transforming the two parties’ economies in real-time (America Has Two Economies).

Recently members from the Culinary Workers Union were canvassing neighborhoods in Las Vegas. They were there to pitch for Democratic candidates and get the vote out. Upon opening the door, one woman shouted at the kitchen worker:

“You think I am going to vote for those Democrats after all they’ve done to ruin the economy?” a voter shouted one evening last week from her entryway in a working-class neighborhood of East Las Vegas (Democrat’s Troubles in Nevada).

This woman lives in the working-class neighborhood of East Las Vegas. 97.1 percent of neighborhoods in the United States are economically better off than East Las Vegas making it one of the poorest in America. While Nevada is considered one of the lone blue states in the West despite having more registered Republicans, November promises to be punishment time for the Democrats.

The punishment is being exacted for sins the Democrats never committed. They are paying for the repetitive and destructive policies from the other side of the aisle that always favor the super-rich and punish working Americans.

Democratic policies help Americans

The thing is, and these are sadly the uninteresting minutiae of economists, it is traditionally the policies of Democrats that help the disgruntled woman and families like her all over the country.

Everything Democrats have done since 2020, and even for many years prior, has helped this woman. If this woman has any kind of health care, it’s thanks to Democrats. If that health care is more affordable than she would like it, it’s because Republicans…
