Putin Ready to Add 200,000 More Dead Soldiers to Prove His Point
In a telling discussion with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennet, Vladimir Putin revealed that he is a very patient man. The tragic deaths of thousands, potentially even hundreds of thousands of young men and middle-aged men in his country mean nothing at all to him.
During a meeting in March with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett of Israel, Mr. Putin admitted that the Ukrainians were tougher “than I was told,” according to two people familiar with the exchange. “This will probably be much more difficult than we thought. But the war is on their territory, not ours. We are a big country and we have patience (The Inside Story of a Catastrophe).”
It would be interesting to see Putin explain to the mothers of Russia the degree to which is willing to be patient with his mistaken decision to invade Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin is an insanely wealthy man. Even if access to a lot of his wealth was likely restricted thanks to the sanctions imposed since his invasion of Ukraine, there is nothing inside of Russia to which Putin doesn’t have access. His wealth is limitless.
