Vladimir Putin was left unimpressed with Tucker Carlson. Russians love Tucker, and he is considered a reliable, useful idiot. The Kremlin figured he could best serve their interests by delivering a strong message from Putin to the world — and America’s Foxified.

In an interview today, Putin said that Tucker was “dangerous,” without explaining exactly why, and stated that he was pretty disappointed with the overall tone set by Carlson.

I honestly thought he would be aggressive and ask tough questions. I wanted that because I would have given tough answers back […] to be frank, I didn’t get much pleasure from this interview,” Putin told a Russian state-controlled journalist.

Putin’s people undoubtedly shared with him the reaction of most sane people worldwide. The interview was an embarrassment, and Putin sounded like a raving lunatic. Tucker Carlson has been mocked by journalists from all walks of life for the interview’s timid, if not subservient, tone.
