Trump tells Hannity: turns out the F.B.I. was looking for Hillary’s emails
How silly we all were to think that the F.B.I. was actually in Mar-a-Lago looking for classified documents that Trump had stolen.
It turns out, they were there for Hillary’s emails. It all makes so much sense now.
Yes, world, it is true. On live TV, in the safest place possible for right-wing lunatics — The Sean Hannity Show — the 45th president of the United States and a man guilty of trying to overthrow our democracy, officially bid farewell to reality.
With his face contorted and slightly leaning forward in his seat like he was trying to force a bowel movement, Trump dropped some doozies on us. When asked about when he declassified the documents in Mar-a-Lago, Trump offered up the following response which was serious:
“There doesn’t have to be a process, as I understand it,” Trump said. “You’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying it’s declassified, even by thinking about it (I Could Declassify Documents by Thinking About It).”
Okay. Got it. Trump, I guess, sort of just looks at a stack of documents and does a little “I Dream of Jeannie” nod of the head, and documents are magically de-classified.
