Mar-a-Lago Docs Were Safe Because ‘Bathroom Doors Have Locks’
I am not making this up: “A bathroom door locks.” This was the response Kevin McCarthy gave to a reporter when asked if he thought stacking boxes filled with top-secret documents nearly to the ceiling in a Mar-a-Lago bathroom was a “good look.”
“Know your bridges” was another comment made by a Republican representative — more on that one later.
In some of these boxes were documents that highlighted our nation’s vulnerabilities to a nuclear attack. If there is any single document that should never be seen by an adversary, I would say it’s that one. In Trump’s world, and the world of lost-in-space Republicans, storing such a document next to the toilet paper is perfectly okay.
No comparison to Hillary
