Mainstream Media Suffers From Stockholm Syndrome As It Builds Up Trump ‘Historic Inevitability’

And the media’s hatred for Biden continues undaunted

In 2016, Donald Trump received an unprecedented level of free media coverage. The Trump circus was considered so off-the-wall that leading news agencies and journalists on both sides of the political divide salivated every time Trump did or said anything.

The reason, of course, was because Trump was a ratings good luck charm. Crazy amounts of money were earned thanks to Trump’s 2016 run. The earnings from the Trump traveling circus continued throughout his presidency and only tapered a bit when the disgraced insurrectionist left office and returned to shuffling around the hallways of his Florida resort, Mar-a-Lago.

Trump has politically rebounded, but as was reported in The Atlantic, fewer people hang on his every word the way they did from 2016 to 2020. Trump, many find, is boring, and his whiny diatribes leave even his followers scratching their heads.

If Donald Trump has benefited from one underappreciated advantage this campaign season, it might be that no one seems to be listening to him very closely anymore.
