‘I’ve Been an Isolated Loner My Entire Life’
And now you are a dead loser. The 19-year-old former student who assaulted his school in what is now the 24th school shooting of 2022 was killed by the police in a gunfight.
The fast actions of the school-based officers were not fast enough to save the lives of a 15-year student and one teacher. Seven other students joined the thousands of Americans wounded each year by gun violence. So far over 32,000 Americans have been wounded in 2022 by guns. 1,110 teens have been killed by guns.
Armed with 600 rounds (!!!) of AR-15 assault rifle ammunition, the loner-loser marched into the school and screamed: “You are all about to die.”
My most immediate reactions are definitely guided by a jerking-knee. First of all, when do we add these words, “You are all about to die,” to our Constitution? Let’s either add them to the language of the 2nd Amendment; or, better yet, let’s add these words to the Bill of Rights.
As an American citizen, you have the right to be slaughtered by your fellow citizens while going about life in the public space.
