It’s Time to End the War in Ukraine

We are kidding ourselves if we think this ends with Putin deposed and Russia asunder

The given to our theorem is that Russia won’t be conquered. That is something all of us need to accept and to accept rather quickly. If the goal is to defeat Russian and break it up, then we have defeated ourselves.

It will take a nuclear war to reach the above-stated objectives and then no one wins.

For as much as I am against this war, for as much as I consider Russia at fault, morally empty and genocidal even, I don’t want Russia to be defeated totally. Total Russian defeat means that nuclear missiles flew east and west and everything in between has been reduced to unlivable desert-like wastelands.

I am not willing to give up the human race for the sake of returning Crimea to Ukraine. To be fair, and this a truth folks, most of the residents of Crimean were not thriving when Crimea was ruled by Ukraine. They were surviving with intermittent bouts of little potable water and even less electricity.

Granted Russia’s annexation was illegal and vile, nevertheless upon taking over the water and electricity problems were resolved for the most part. As much as Volodymyr Zelensky doesn’t want to give up Crimea, it seems worth it if it means avoiding…
