Israel Blocks Al Jazeera

How is this retribution any different from Russia’s anti-democracy moves?

What did Al Jazeera do wrong? It reported on the “war” in Gaza in a way that Israel found critical. As a result, Al Jazeera has been denied the right to further work within the country, and the Israeli government is blocking its broadcasts. How does this behavior differ from what Putin is doing in Russia? And what Trump would gladly do — and will do — if he is re-elected?

Spoiler alert: It doesn’t. It’s all written on the same page in the “Fascism for Dummies” guidebook.

Israel’s cabinet has voted to shut down the offices of the Al Jazeera network operating in the country with immediate effect.

Writing on X, formerly known as Twitter, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his government had decided “unanimously” to close Al Jazeera in Israel. He accused the Doha-headquartered network of being an “incitement channel” against Israel.

Netanyahu’s announcement was immediately echoed by Shlomo Karai, Israel’s minister of communications. In a statement, Karai said that Al Jazeera will be closed immediately, and its equipment will be confiscated (Israel Raids Al Jazeera Office).

Does Al Jazeera have a Muslim or Arab bias? Probably no more than CNN has a U.S…
