Russia expresses ‘fury’ over M1 Abrams and Leopard 2 tanks being sent to Ukraine
Uffa che palle! Or, “Ugh, my balls!” This is how I feel this morning upon waking to read Russia’s reaction to the decision by Germany to send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.
Russia expressed mounting fury at the prospect of modern Western tanks being sent to Ukraine, calling it “extremely dangerous” and saying previous “red lines” were now a thing of the past (Russia Fumes at West).
Before I get into why I am feeling discomfort in that part of my body, let me explain to you where this expression comes from. It is an Italian hand gesture that implies that the other person has gone on so long that your testicles are about to explode. Now, back to the annoying Russians.
First of all, it’s so boring, guys — take five, as my mother used to say. I mean really, it’s just not interesting anymore. We aren’t buying the faux anger. The Kremlin has cried wolf so many times that honestly, it’s time we find that goddamn wolf, stuff it, and put it up in the lobby at the United Nations.
