Dems Finally Go All In On the F-Word

Trump’s fascism has been decades in the works, and it has finally bloomed.

Donald Trump is calling November 5th «Liberation Day» for our country. Apocalyptic rhetoric similarly employed by Adolf Hitler nearly a century earlier is now on display at rally after rally and coming from the putrid mouth of a former American president. While many believe this day could never arrive in our country, if you were paying attention, you knew it was just a matter of time.

Often, I have leaned into my unique peak into the future thanks to my — until recently — life in Russia. I spent years marveling at how brutally clueless Russians were thanks to the decades of «brain shaping» of Soviet propaganda. So many of the truths most of us in the West held to be absolute were in the Soviet Union, and its post-Soviet shadow lies motivated by the political agendas of Russia’s eternal enemies. One very simplistic and naive belief still held by many Russians today is that it was the Soviet Union alone that defeated Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan (Please don’t comment about Russia’s great suffering. I know all about it, and while it was indeed horrific much of it was self-inflicted).
