Definitely agree that focusing solely on those "early bird specials" like Electoral College and gathering in civil unrest to protest--then slip back to the broken system and get angry after a couple binge-watched Netflix series again--are not the answer to much at all. In my opinion, the failure to address the crisis of value in our society--not values--is what makes a Trump possible. The income inequality will continue unabated because Americans simply don't have the opportunities to earn sustainable wages. This is a massive problem which sadly few are talking about the media just avoids because it's too hard to package in a nice little sound-bite followed up by smart people supporting the emotive headlines. Here is a piece about our value dilemma.
