As Republicans Turn Their Back on Ukraine, Russia Eyes Up Next Victim
The Transnistria Region of Moldova is next on Putin’s to-do list.
If not for the untimely death of Alexey Navalny, Putin would be whistling as he walks through the long, empty hallways in the Kremlin. He has every reason, except for that corpse, to be celebrating. After two years of watching as his country’s army gets its ass kicked, there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel, and it goes by the name of Donald Trump.
Donald Trump’s command to the horde of Republican clowns occupying Congress to provide no support to Ukraine has resulted in the largest disruption of armaments and munitions for Ukraine’s defenders since the invasion was launched two years ago. At a time when the country is beginning to suffer from war weariness and the army is struggling to field an army not just large enough to defend its positions but to hopefully go on an offensive again, the decision by Trump and the Republicans to cut off Ukraine is nothing less than a decision to side with Putin.
