Another Good Reason Not to Send Your Kids to U.S. Schools

My brain can’t grasp how Rep. Andrew Clyde thinks what he is doing is funny

There are hundreds of pins that members of Congress could be wearing on their lapels. The wearing of a pin that signifies the nightmarish slaughter of children, and of America’s dysfunctionality, however, is cruel.

Some Republicans — who else? — in Congress, thanks to the generosity of Representative Andrew Clyde (R-GA) have taken to wearing pins of assault rifles (!!!) on their lapels. The praying mantis-sized pin can be seen in Congress these days worn by humans who obviously think the flowing blood from gun violence is just another affirmation of America’s greatest strength — the 2nd Amendment.

He also pointed out the utter heartlessness of wearing the pins during Gun Violence Survivors Week — and noted that Clyde is the owner of a major gun retailer in Georgia that profits from gun use (Democrats Go Ballistic).

Clyde then took to Twitter to mock the anger he provoked. Holding up the pin and with his usual “if they only knew how afraid I am” smile, he said it “seems I have been triggering Democrats with this.”

Yeah, you triggered us, all right — another pun he clearly didn’t intend.

The past holds the answers to today’s problems. “Be curious, not judgmental,” at least until you have all the facts. Think and stop watching cable news.
