And it was so long in coming and so predictable. I used to argue with one my very conservative friends that the rhetoric and lies of the Republicans, then put into warp speed thanks to Fox, would lead us to this--it would make the average American as clueless and hyper-politicized as the average Russian is about history, politics, etc. They see only the politicized versions that made first the Communists seem so glorious; and today, they are fed non-stop how amazing Putin is. My friend used to scoff at my warnings. It doesn't make me happy being right.
