A Proud Boy Becomes a Poll Worker in Florida

Overseeing the elections in Democrat-heavy Miami-Dade County, presence of extremists backs up earlier email threats

Maybe I am overreacting but something tells me having known racist extremists overseeing voting at the polls is not a good thing.

On Wednesday, the Miami New Times reported that a member of the extremist group the Proud Boys was seen acting as a poll worker in Miami during Florida’s primary elections this week (Proud Boy Working at Miami Polling Station).

The Proud Boys, in case you aren’t familiar with them, are not just some group of local do-gooders who patrol neighborhoods looking for little old ladies to help cross the street. The Proud Boys are a self-described “Western chauvinist” group with ties to white supremacists.

There is also a fair amount of evidence that these racist America-haters were the key organizers for the January 6th “pep rally” that turned into a real-life insurrection and our nation’s first violent transfer of power.
